I am based in Tokyo, Japan, and primarily photograph people. Businesspeople, artists, dancers, athletes, families, musicians. Workshops & conferences. Events. PR. Life! Available to travel to any part of Japan or Asia, on commission. My influences are: Helmut Newton, David Lachapelle, Eammon McCabe, Roger Bamber, Jillian Edelstein. Many years ago I started my career as a rock music photographer, freelancing for music papers in the UK, in the early eighties. Contributing photographer at Pictorial Press, and later All-Action Photographic where, under the tutelage of Duncan Raban, I won the coveted Sports Photographer of the Year (colour portfolio) award. Specialised in cycling photography, before moving to Japan with my family. |
